Agrodev provides a wide
range of fisheries services including: sector studies;
feasibility studies; project design; implementation
and monitoring; port management; institutional
strengthening and policy analysis. One of the first
firms to recognize that fish resources are limited and
that future growth in the sector would come from
aquaculture, Agrodev integrated aquaculture development
into it's services in the mid 1980s. We emphasize
efficient harvesting, conservation and the sustainable
management of our client's fisheries, aquaculture and
coastal zone resources. Project Profiles Fishery Sub-Sector Capacity Building Project, Ghana Agrodev assisted the Department of Fisheries to strengthen their capacity for managing the nation's marine fisheries resources. Second Aquaculture Development, North West Frontier Province (NWFP), Pakistan This five year project focused on the privatization of fish production in NWFP. Fisheries Policy and Fleet Development, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) Agrodev assisted the Government of FSM with the institutional strengthening of fisheries management and with fisheries-related infrastructure development. |
