  •  an Indian Fish Breeding Specialist is assisting in the development of a research program for breeding and rearing indigenous fish species for aquaculture, a system for producing fingerlings of the selected species, and a training program for hatchery staff; and
  • a Canadian Fisheries Law Specialist is assisting in the review and redrafting of the fisheries law in relation to the long term needs for maintaining a sustainable fishery, and is providing training for staff involved in the application of the law.
