Agrodev Canada Inc.: Natural Resource Management


	Agrodev takes an integrated, holistic, participatory approach to natural resources management. Our projects optimize use of an area's total resource base, and facilitate participation of all local stakeholders. Project Profiles Northern Resource Management, Azad Jammu & Kashmir Province (AJK), Pakistan Agrodev worked with the government of AJK in the sustainable management of land and other resources in one of Pakistan's poorest and most environmentally vulnerable areas. Crop Diversification, Bangladesh Agrodev assisted the government of Bangladesh in it's programme to address a national nutritional imbalance and diversify crop production. This project was awarded the 1994 Canadian Award for International Development. Sustainable Rangeland Management, Jordan Agrodev worked with the Government of Jordan, NGOs and nomadic tribes to develop and field test sustainable rangeland management models. Agriculture Research Management Project, Bangladesh Agrodev assisted the Government of Bangladesh to increase the efficiency of the National Agricultural Research System.
